Privacy Policy
This policy explains what spardhapath.in ("we", operated by Vaishali Ajay Dhabe) collects and why, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture, to create your account.
- WhatsApp sign-in: your mobile number (and the name you enter), to send a one-time login code and create your account. We send only login codes; no promotional messages without your separate consent.
- Purchases: plan, amount, date and Razorpay order/payment IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are handled only by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
- Study data: completed topics, test scores, bookmarks and your revision list — kept in your browser and, when you are signed in, synced to your account so they work on every device.
- Questions and answer photos you send to the AI doubt solver or answer evaluation.
- Error reports you submit. The eligibility checker runs only in your browser; we do not receive your date of birth or category.
- A session cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data.
- Anonymous visit counts: to see which pages help students, we count page views and where visitors came from (e.g. a shared WhatsApp link or Google). A random ID kept in your browser is mixed with the date before it reaches us, so visits cannot be linked across days or to you. We do not store IP addresses for this.
AI processing
To answer doubts and evaluate answers, the question text and any photo you attach are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. They are used only to produce your answer, are not used by us for advertising, and we do not store answer photos on our servers after the evaluation.
How we use data
Only to provide the service, give access to purchased plans, answer support requests, prevent misuse and meet legal or tax requirements.
Sharing
With Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in), Meta/WhatsApp (login codes), Anthropic (AI processing) and our hosting provider, and with authorities where required by law.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time from "माझे खाते → खाते कायमचे हटवा". You may also email spardhapath.in@gmail.com to access, correct or erase your data, or to withdraw consent. Payment records are kept, without your name, as long as tax law requires.
Children
Users under 18 should use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
